About the monograph

For the first time in eight decades of the existence and success of the Red Star Football Club, a monograph is being printed – a story about generations of players, winners, a story about victories and the occasional defeat, goals, titles, a story about the attitude to be the best, and at the same time, that in the manner of a football gentleman, all the actors of the game of football are respected: from teammates and rivals, through referees, to fans.
The book takes us back to the beginning, to the founding agreement on March 4, 1945, reminds us of how the largest club in this area was built, how the environment that gave birth to the European champion was created, and how, in the years of football expansion and increasingly strong competition, it reached the Champions League and titles and double crowns from season to season.
Proud and proud in its eight decades, Red Star has gone from matches in borrowed jerseys to an institution that the army of the best fans in the world is proud of!
